PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITIES
We have over 200 projects that need funding... yes, over 200!!! Despite the lack of funds, we keep working and praying, BELIEVING that the Lord will provide, and we want to be ready for when He does provide! Here are just a few of these projects that we believe can be great blessings for the church in Portuguese-speaking countries:

HOW WE GOT THE BIBLE
Written by Neil Lightfoot (ACU), this could be a major contribution for a relative small investment. It deals with textual criticism, affirming the divine origin of the Bible. Estimated cost: US$ 5,000

EARLY CHRISTIANS SPEAK
Written by Everett Ferguson (ACU), this book has been used by American colleges and universities for its easy to understand language and deep knowledge of Christian backgrounds. It tackles difficult questions, such as worship, baptism, early organization of the church, etc. The rights have been acquired.
Estimated cost: US$ 9,000

CONTRIBUTING OPPORTUNITIES
THE WORD FOR BRAZIL has special financial needs that must be met in order to assure that all that can be done is being done. All funds are deposited into an account overseen by Central Church of Christ (Amarillo, TX)'s Missions Committee.

Personal support
Sidney still lacks about US$ 800 per month to complete his personal support. His salary is paid through the contribution of many individuals, Central Church of Christ (Amarillo, TX) and Westover Hills Church of Christ (Austin, TX). If you would like to contribute towards Sidney's salary, please contact us directly; or, if you prefer, you may contact Central Church of Christ's Missions Committee (please write to us and we will provide the current Missions Committee Chairman's name and email).

Working fund
THE WORD FOR BRAZIL does not have a working fund. A working fund would provide a stepping stone for the work, an assurance of a minimum level of income so that publications can be scheduled and printed with an acceptable level of certainty. We are currently working on a plan to reach 100 individuals who would contribute with at least US$ 80 per month for one year. If raised, this working fund would allow us to publish at least one new title per month, as well as to increase THE WORD FOR BRAZIL's presence in the Christian market, helping us to be closer to the dream of a self-sustained ministry in the long-term.
