Besides being our evangelistic branch, CENTRO DE ESTUDOS TEOLÓGICOS (Center for Theological Studies) is also our training organization. It was founded in 1985 by Dr. Alaor Leite. Through in-class seminars and distance learning, CET is able to provide quality traning to native Christians, seeking to teach them about Jesus, equipping them to teach others.

This ministry is also involved in training through the National Bible Seminary (Seminário Bíblico Nacional). Dr. Alaor Leite, founder of THE WORD FOR BRAZIL, was the entity's first president. Sidney Leite, current CEO of THE WORD FOR BRAZIL, is a member of the Board of Directors and heads the NBS Sao Paulo cell.

As part of this training effort, THE WORD FOR BRAZIL developed the NBS Sao Paulo cell's website, allowing students to enroll on-line and providing useful information about schedules, enrollment, special seminars, e-mail updates and more.

CET also contributes with training efforts in Brazil through its publications, usually specific to churches of Christ.
